  • 1. Where is Mošatê Lodge located?
  • The lodge is situated in Grobler Street, in the centre of Polokwane / Pietersburg. Polokwane is the capital city of the Limpopo Province (previously named Northern Transvaal / Northern Province). The province is located on the northern border of South Africa. Polokwane lies on the N1 highway connecting the city to Pretoria, Johannesburg, Bloemfontein, Cape Town and also Zimbabwe.   • 2. How big is the lodge?
  • Mošatê Lodge offers 4-star accommodation and boasts 30 x standard rooms, 14 x deluxe rooms, an executive suite and even a paraplegic room. The lodge can thus comfortably accommodate over 90 guests. There is also a full conference venue with three private boardrooms, plus a restaurant on the premises.


  • 3. Is the lodge wheelchair-friendly?
  • The lodge is wheelchair-friendly and even offers a paraplegic room with a queen bed. The en-suite bathroom has a shower which can comfortably accommodate a wheelchair too.


  • 4. Does the lodge have an on-site restaurant?
  • The fully licensed Mošatê restaurant and bar are located on-site, within the borders of the lodge, where breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in an African setting. The restaurant can also cater for functions held at the conference venue.


  • 5. Does the lodge offer conferencing facilities?
  • Yes, Mošatê Lodge boasts a fully equipped conference venue, plus three smaller, private boardrooms. The venue can also be utilised for corporate functions and private parties. Conferences and functions are catered for by our onsite restaurant.

  • Polokwane and the rest of the Limpopo Province offer an absolutely huge variety of leisure, sport and adrenaline activities, and local tourist attractions. The area is very well known for hunting and game watching, and the Limpopo scenery is loved by international tourists.
